Prince of Songkla University (PSU), one of the leading research universities in Thailand and Southeast Asia. PSU has five campuses, the main campus located in Hat Yai, Songkhla and four campuses located in Pattani,Trang, Surat Thani and Phuket. PSU has realized the drastic change of technologies and the needs to prepare students for life-long learning together with competencies and skills required in 21st century to serve a fast-growing industries. STEM knowledge, STEM skills, and STEM abilities are required to improve professional development and work values. It is a necessity for faculty members and educators to understand and to be trained in STEM education in order to prepare scientifically and technologically literate students to be STEM workers. This indicates that the challenge-driven of the university to better prepare STEM student competencies for the opportunities in occupation and life in the industries.

PSU STEM Center’s goal is to develop regional STEM network partners and focus on the inclusion of various types of institutions involved in ensuring the long-term effectiveness. The STEM missions will require the commitment of the target groups including higher education faculty members, industrial partners, Government partners, parents and University leaders. Thus, STEM center is the lifelong learning education.
